How fast they grow

It's very hard for me to believe that 7 years ago I was childless...no children in my life, no diapers, no crying, no homework, no booboos or tears. But also no first smiles, no "mommy I love yous", no hands to hold and no butterfly kisses. I never would have thought that becoming a mom could change my whole life, my outlook on the world and how I would live my life. Now in a two weeks my oldest will be 7 years old, I have gone through all those baby moments with him, and shared his first day of school with him, his first hospital trip and first baseball game. What's next his first crush, first heartbreak and first day of college...how much faster can this time fly by?

If you asked me 10 years ago where I saw myself in 10 years I probably would have told you a very different version of what my life is right now. I would have told you that I want to be living in California and that I what to be a journalist or a novelist or just travel the world. I never would have said I would still be in Jacksonville, or married or had 2 children. But now if you asked me where I will be in 10 years from now...I can say I think I will be helping my oldest decided where he wants to go to college and help him plan his final summer before his senior year of high school. I would be preparing my littlest one for middle school and trying to get him to let me drop him off at the door, even if his friends see me drive up, and I am sure I would explaining to him why his brother can't always drive him around everywhere. So I definately can say my life revolves around my children.

For my life to feel full, for me to be happy...all I need is for my two little men to be happy, and to know they always have parents that love them and will always be there. No matter what life brings, I can honestly tell you that my boys come first and their happiness is more important than my own. So If you don't agree with me or dont like that they are more important to me than you, then I am sorry but deal with it or move on! (In fact many of you have) I know all you mom's out there can agree with me on this...Do for your kids first, it isn't about who has the best cars or best houses, clothes or purses...It is do your children know that they are loved?? and of the kids are thinking mom stop saying you love me and just buy me the new video game and then I will know you love me...haha! Take care everyone...

Teddy is one week old! I can’t believe it. It seems to have gone by so fast. As my sister said “Tomorrow he will be 6!” It seems that a little over a week ago I was saying ” This year has gone by sooooo slow!!” that was because we found out on New Years Eve that Teddy was on his way. Now as I sit here I think “WOW! It’s September already?!” It’s funny how being pregnant with the pressure of that baby pushing down, makes the time go by so slow. And how a 6lb baby being born can make it speed up to Warp speed. He is doing wonderful, his weight has stabalized and he is eating like he should. His big brother is thrilled to have him home and all he says all the time is “My Brother is sleeping, My brother is cute, My brother is crying, etc.” Always saying “My brother” never his name. So for all you asking how Jack is doing, he is obviously loving being a big brother. I took Teddy’s newborn pictures at home, and its nice that I can do that now and not have to deal with going to the studio, but as his brother did I am sure he will get a lot harder and I won’t be able to do them by myself at home much longer. Teddy did really well though and even “smiled” as much as a 4 day old baby could smile.(sure it was just gas, but thanks!) He had his first trip out of the house, it was very exciting as it was just a Dr. Apt. but he stayed awake in the car the whole way there, once at the dr.’s he feel asleep. He seemed to like the nurse until she took his temperature. But he liked the Dr. he didnt fuss for him, and the dr. said all is well and that he looks great. So there you have it the first week of Teddy’s life, not much excitement for him, just lots of rest and eating. Thanks for stopping by to check out his site. And Thanks to Aunt Jenny for creating such a nice site for him =)

Can you believe it?! I sure can’t! Teddy is doing great. He had his two week check up yesterday, and he now weighs 6lbs 10oz and is 20 1/2 inches. So in one week he gained almost 1lb (since his one week check up) and in two weeks has grown an inch! He doesnt seem any bigger, but I know he has grown because he finally fits into some of his clothes, and a week ago he was being swallowed whole by every outfit he owns. Last night Teddy went to his first restuarant =) It was also My first time out of the house for longer than 30 mins, since we came home from the hospital. Today Teddy got to go meet Raylee (Ryan’s daughter, who has grown sooooo much) I didnt think about taking a picture of the two of them together, but I am sure they will see each other soon. I think Teddy already likes older women (haha). Well thats all for now, and I haven’t taken any pictures in a few days…I am a bad mommy and will make sure to get some pictures up very soon!

Well today Teddy turned 3 weeks old! He has been doing great. This week went by pretty fast we had a lot to do this week, and it seems as life has moved forward, and we have finally gotten on to a routine The first two weeks were nice to be home with Teddy and enjoy the newborn time. But now this week it seems as he not only turned a week older but he also grew up so much. He went to his Big Brother’s school for the first time, he took his first trip to the mall, he meet his Great Grandmother, and he even made his first trip to Grandma’s and Poppa’s house. So he did a lot this week. And through all of it he was really good. He did have one bad day this week and it was Wednesday, he decided that he would eat every hour that day and be extremely fuzzy from about 1am until midnight. But as soon as that day was over, he was back to normal, being the sweet and quiet boy he had been just the day before. I have posted a First Bath Montage on the same site that I have his newborn Montage. http://www.onetruemedia.com/my_shared?z=1ecc76998361944579a549&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=text_url
Keep checking back, I will add new things as often as possible.
